QA launches ITIL® (V3) Foundation eLearning
QA
20-Jul-2010 » Training Press Releases » The UK's leading training company, QA, has launched its new ITIL (V3) Foundation eLearning course - designed to provide a high-quality, easily accessible, value-for-money ITIL training solution.
QA continues to expand its internally authored portfolio of online training solutions with the launch of ITIL V3 Foundation eLearning.. This new product adds to QA's current range of eLearning programmes, which includes the successful PRINCE2® Foundation.
The ITIL (V3) Foundation eLearning has been designed by the QA eLearning experts, working with QA's ITIL consultants who developed the highly successful classroom based courses - this allows it to complement QA's classroom courses to provide a seamless path to full ITIL V3 certification. QA is already the UK's largest provider of ITIL training and more people pass their ITIL V3 exams with QA than with any other organisation.
According to Jeff Payne, QA's Director of Professional Best Practice, this provides customers with greater choice. "Our classroom courses are very successful, but the market is evolving with many people wanting a mixture of learning methods to choose from. We've transferred our market-leading ITIL knowledge directly into our eLearning programme - for those who wish to learn at their own pace, and at a time and place to suit their needs."
The QA authored course comprises interactive, multimedia eLearning - complete with full voiceover and practice examinations. The solution uses a range of real-world scenarios, support modules, quizzes and assessments; the course prepares learners fully for their ITIL (V3) Foundation examination.
The eLearning course is fully accredited by ISEB (the Information Systems Examinations Board, now part of The Chartered Institute for IT).
The course can be purchased without the examination, for those people who just require awareness of ITIL V3 or as a complete exam package. The exam package includes a copy of the ITIL (V3) Foundation Handbook, an ITIL (V3) process model wall chart, support from QA's ITIL experts - and the ITIL (V3) Foundation examination fee. Prices start from only £199*.
Capability and Lifecycle Stream packages using the QA ITIL V3 Foundation eLearning are available here.
The eLearning is available now, via QA's dedicated online Learning Management System (QA Virtual), and will also be made available on a USB memory stick for learners with limited internet connectivity or permanently on the move. A full interactive demonstration is available at www.qa.com/itildemo
