Free Adobe Skills Tests Prove a Hit for Highlander
Highlander | London, UK

19-Jul-2010 » Training Press Releases » Employees are keener than ever to test, maintain and demonstrate their skills, and this has been reflected in the popularity of Highlander's range of Free online Adobe Skills Tests.

Highlander's Adobe Skills Tests which were originally launched in early 2009, cover a range of topics such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Flash, ActionScript and DreamWeaver and are completely free to take. They are made up of 36 random questions on the chosen subject and users have half an hour to complete them. The questions are put together by Highlander's Adobe Certified Instructors and are designed to test a users knowledge of the specific Adobe product as well as best practice for using the product.

In the 18 months since they were launched over 1,700 people have signed up and taken the skills tests, out of which an elite core of just 13 users have scored the maximum 100%.

These tests are the only Adobe related skills tests which are available for free, and they are are especially popular with delegates preparing to take the Adobe Certified Expert exams, and wanting to test their readiness.

Upon completion of the tests delegates can download a secure PDF certificate which can then be used to verify their score, or can be included alongside a resume when applying for roles. Another use for the tests is by employers when testing a potential candidates ability.

Andy Gardiner, Managing Director of Highlander commented "The days when you "send somebody on a course because it's been a while since they did one" are long gone. These days it's important that skills can be professionally assessed and subsequent training can be shown to have an impact. By offering the free skills tests and mapping our Bootcamp courses to Adobe's professional ACE certification program, we are unique in being able to demonstrate improved performance for Adobe product users in the UK."
