Industry support for Learning Technologies 2011 and Learning and Skills 2011
Learning Technologies | London

21-Jul-2010 » Training Press Releases » #LT11UK and LAS11UK » Learning Technologies and Learning and Skills, Europe's leading workplace learning events, have announced that suppliers are targeting the UK L&D sector in record numbers with over 140 stands already booked for January 2011.

At over six months out, Learning Technologies and the co-located Learning and Skills event have seen record-breaking bookings for the two exhibitions and the organisers are citing the need for learning innovation as one of the reasons for the increase.

Mark Penton, event organiser said: "The economic downturn has led to an increase in training innovation, and maximising effectiveness is now inextricably linked to business performance".

"Organisations know that they must focus on developing their talent if they are to succeed and the business case for developing staff is now more compelling than ever. Consequently the event is attracting more buyers than ever before looking for the latest learning products, services, methods and technologies and more learning providers are choosing to exhibit."

Over 140 exhibitors have already booked their stands for the 2011 event and over 200 exhibitors are expected in total, making it the largest event of its type in Europe. The exhibitions are also expected to attract in excess of 4,000 L&D professionals and there will be over 120 free seminars for visitors to attend in the nine exhibition seminar theatres. The conference that runs alongside the two exhibitions is again expected to attract over 400 delegates from the some of the leading companies in the UK and Europe.

Learning Technologies and its co-located Learning and Skills exhibition will be returning to London's Olympia 2 on 26-27 January 2011. The events will now take up all of the available space at Olympia 2 including additional floor space created through building developments at the Olympia venue - with further details to be announced over the next few months.
