Institute of IT Training
| Coventry, UK
23-Jul-2010 » Training Press Releases » The IITT consultation with 3,000 Learning and Development professionals will be announced at the Training 2010 conference
The Institute of IT Training (IITT) will announce important future plans for the Institute at September's Training 2010 conference. The new strategy has been guided by a consultation document issued to 3,000 IITT members in May and will consolidate the Institute's position as a leading authority on training and development.
The consultation results to be announced at the conference cover a variety of topics including Continuous Professional Development (CPD), elearning and professional accreditation. Chief Executive Colin Steed believes the results will be a catalyst for significant changes at the Institute. He said: "February's separation of the Institute from the NCC marked a clear opportunity for us to take stock of the value we bring to our members. The Institute's strength is in its members and we're proud to have the support of some 3,000 individual Learning and Development professionals and 400 organisations. Our aim in the future is to serve them even better."
"The consultation draws on the experience of our membership to guide us as we evolve to meet changes in the environment and respond positively to the needs of our members."
The results of the members consultation will be presented during the Institute's opening presentation at the Training 2010 conference which takes place at the London Marriott, Grosvenor Square, on the 7th and 8th of September. For more information, visit http://bit.ly/IITT10Conf.
